The family includes Allen Snedeker, Carmen Snedeker and a cousin and three sons. Nothing happened in the house untill Carmen Snedeker witnessed many weird happenings , in particular, some tools used by Morticians were found in the basement while she visit the rooms in the basement. The most shocking thing they came to know was that the house was once a funeral parlour. They moved to the house in Connecticut because of the sake of  treatment for their oldest son Phillip Snedeker who has been suffering from Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
